Full Description

{1} During ironstone working in 1968 a large quantity of Roman pottery was found here.

{2} Finds of 1968. Romano-British pot sherds found during ironstone extraction.

{3} At SP 88338220 a very heavy concentration of Roman pottery was found in 1968 during quarrying. Most of the material was left on the site, but some retained has now been lost. It was not precisely classified.
