Full Description
{1}In October 1929 a Romano-British inhumation was found; middle-aged female; remains taken by Borough Surveyor Mr T.J.Day; skeleton found to have coin of Constantius II in its mouth;,
{2}Found against hedge on east side of back garden;,
{3}Coin inscribed "fel temp reparatio"; falling horseman Type IV (cf Late Romano-British Bronze Coinage by Kent & Hill); skeleton was found on northern boundary of 111 Neale Av.;
{4}Lying immediately below the crest in the ridge, the area contains both cremations and inhumations with one skeleton cited as having been buried with a 4th century coin in its mouth.
