Full Description

{1} Finds of Romano-British pot sherds (C4th), a brooch fragment, quern stone and cinerary urn, possibly containing a cremation. Also an early Saxon bronze ring, two fragments of cruciform brooches and a circular mount, not necessarily associated. All from Pipewell.

{4} Exhibited in Market Harborough Museum and labelled "Pipewell" are:
1. Sherds of 4c. Ro pottery and a Ro brooch fragment.
2. An AS ring and part of two cruciform brooches.
The Museum/Library have no information concerning the finds.
