{1} Roman sherds have been found, and a colour-coated rim came from the bed of a nearby stream.

{4} SP 82448530. RB sherds found 1968. Colour coated rim found on the bed of a nearby stream. Freshly ploughed. A wide perambulation produced one isolated fragment of modern pottery. Nothing of geological importance noted. Dix did not retain his finds.
