Full Description

{1} Dam, south-east of the village, in the valley of a small north-west flowing brook, on clay at 90m aOD. The remains have been completely destroyed, but air photographs {5} taken in 1957 show a broad bank, some 100m long and 15m wide, spanning the valley. Traces of the former pond covering about 2ha and respected by the adjacent ridge and furrow to the south are also visible.

{2} (SP 7966 8713) Fish Ponds (GT)

{6} The published detail of these ponds comprises the remains of one pond bay and a natural river terrace to the south. All have now been ploughed down and are too spread to be considered anything but amorphous.
