Full Description

{1}Fishponds, north of grange Farm and east of Manor Farm, on clay, in the valley of a small south-east flowing brook, at110m aOD. The remains have been cut by the modern road (A427), but once consisted of a series of at least seven ponds, To the south-east of the road are three embanked ponds. The largest one, to the south-east, is trapezoidal in shape, with a dam 2m high at the south-east end. The central on is rectangualr, but the north-west is little more than an oblong depression, 10m by 5m. There is an overflow channel along the north side of three. North-west of the road and largely destroyed by it are thre remains of another shallow pon, and there are three other rectangular ponds beyond;
