Bronze Age pottery & flints fd (poss duplication of SP 88 SE 50)

{1} Finds from 1903; exact position unlocated. Prehistoric flints and Bronze Age pot sherds were found in the Co-operative Society's ironstone workings north of Kettering. Desborough Co-op is the only known co-op in the area to have ironstone workings. Approx. situated at SP793829 & 790807

{2} Some flints and fragments of Bronze Age pottery were found in 1903 on the Co-Op Society's ironstone workings N of Kettering.

{3} The Desborough Co-op Soc is the only known Co-op in the area to have had ironstone workings; these were situated in the areas centred on SP 793829 and SP 790807.

{5} RCHM Northants Inventory suggests SP 871809 as the probable findspot
[cf SP 88 SE 50]
