Full Description

{1} A small early Iron Age occupation site was found during fieldwalking. There were a few pot sherds and burnt pebbles in an area of dark soil. The main site may be on a tree-clad spur immediately above.

{2} At SP703759 some early Iron Age sherds were scattered on a dark occupation area.

{3} Iron Age settlement (centred SP 703759),in the NW corner of the parish W of Old Covert,on clay at 145m above OD.Iron Age sherds were found on a dark occupation surface.
