Full Description
{1} Features revealed in 1973; two pits or ditch-like features were found in the north side of an ironstone quarry by A. Boddington. One of the features produced a few sherds of a crude bipartite collared urn with a ridge at the shoulder and random finger nail impressions decorating the collar.
{2} SP74746569. Two pits or ditches were found in the face of an ironstone quarry in the same field as the round barrow in 1973. From one of the cut features came a sherd of Neolithic or Bronze Age vessel with pronounced shoulder-ridge and finger-nail decoration on the collar.
