{1} Find of a possible Roman coin, claimed to have been found Spring 1979 by workmen cutting a trench around the west side of the house immediately west of the school. The coin was was in redeposited soil in Victorian levelling of the area around the building; no other finds were observed on the site visit by NCC; coin not seen; G.FOARD 14/5/1979;(1);
