Full Description

{1} Undated earthworks, possibly of a medieval/ post medieval dam, comprising an earthern bank approx 1m high by 5-6m wide running across a small valley from approx SP70485074 to 70505077 where it is cut by a possible stream, and then on to approx SP70585087. This may be a modern feature associated with quarrying and/ or the railway, or may be of an earlier origin as a dam. Not closely examined.
