One Roman gold coin of Antony was found, along with several silver consular coins.

Full Description

{1} Roman coins, including a gold coin of Antony and Octavia and several silver republican ones, possibly a hoard buried before AD43, were found in Alderton in about 1821.

{2} Possibly buried pre AD43.

{4} Alderton (SP 7346). At the time of enclosure a very fine gold coin of Antony was found. At the same time several silver consular coins were found.

{5} Perhaps an early hoard, buried before AD 43.

{6} Northampton Museum and CRO have no information re the above coins.
