Summary

A total of 537 Roman coins ranging in date from Gallienus (AD 253-68) to Tetricus (AD 271-3) is said to have been found in a pot during house construction in the King's Heath area in 1936. There is, however some doubt over the authenticity of this hoard.

{1} Roman Coin Hoard (?) (unlocated). A total of 537 Roman coins ranging in date from Gallienus (AD 253-68) to Tetricus (AD 271-3) is said to have been found in a pot during house construction in the King's Heath area in 1936. There is, however some doubt over the authenticity of this hoard.
