{1} Abraham Groome and Sons Boot and Shoe manufacturers, Lime Street/Oak Street. Moved to Rushden in 1890 (having been founded in Higham Ferrers in 1850).
[SMR note: uncertain whether this factory stood on the site of the subsequent factory of 1899 (7203/231), or whether the location of the Abraham Groome factory is in question.]
