Full Description
{1} Geoffrey de la Guerche holds 4 hides in Welford….and Alfred from him
{2} Alfred holds (under the Count of Mortain) 1 virgate of land. Land for 1/2 plough which is there with 2 bordars. Thorbern held it. Indeterminate earthworks are shown on the sketch plan enclosed with letter.
{3} In Welford William de Wyvill 4 hides & 1 great virgate of the fee of Roger de Mowbray of Gildecote.
