{1} Finds of 1953 made during sand extraction. Roman pottery, a quern and human skeletons are recorded. Possible Romano-British settlement.

{4} South of Milton Ham, Roman settlement remains have been recognised from aerial photographs and fieldwalking immediately to the east of Milton Malsor, and a Roman burial, querns and pottery were found to the west of the village during sand extraction.

{5} Authority {1} refers to an OS Record Card for this site. No such record exists for this parish or is marked on the record maps. It is possible though, that this record duplicates another Roman
settlement.
