Full Description

{1} Earthworks, now destroyed. Three ponds arranged in a line along the valley bottom. Upper pond was rectangular and 50m x 15m. Middle pond was triangular and 100m x 12-60m wide. It had a massive dam at its eastern end. Lower pond was a smaller square pond 40m wide and fed by a tributary stream from the north-west. Nothing is known of their history. They survived until at least 1947.
