Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking undertaken pre 1979 600m north-west of nassington village. A spread of iron slag 5m in diameter was noted and from it a Roman blacksmith's navil was found.

{2} A small area of iron slag 5m in diameter has been noted. Within it a small iron anvil of Roman type was discovered;
