Find Spot record 6493/0/0 - Possible medieval and post medieval manuring scatters

Unstratified medieval and post-medieval pottery, found in three locations during a watching brief, were probably manuring scatters

{1} Small quantities of unstratified medieval pottery were recovered at two locations within the large Lazy Acre development between Oundle Road, Thrapston and the town's eastern bypass.

{3} Watching brief September 1989 by G.Cadman. Small amounts of medieval pottery were recovered from two locations on the Lazy Acre development. These may indicate activity rather than be the result of manuring scatter.

{4} Finds of March 1990 by G.Cadman.
Nine sherds of unstratified medieval pottery were recovered from TL00507895. No associated features were defined.
Eight sherds of unstratified medieval pottery were recovered from TL00557865. No associated features were identified.
34 sherds of post medieval pottery, 11 sherds of medieval pottery and a single sherd of Romano-British pottery were recovered from TL003788. No associated features were identified.
