Full Description

{1} On the W side of the village there is one field of medieval earthworks. An unusual feature is the occurrence of flattened areas of strips about 20x20yds; these are identifiable as the `rick-places' marked on the 1688 map and are therefore presumably where stacks were built in the open fields.
