Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking undertaken in 1992 in advance of the construction of the A6 Rothwell-Desborough Bypass. The following finds were recovered- 10 struck flints; 5 sherds of Iron Age pottery, 10 sherds of Roman pottery, two fragments of burnt daub and folded lead fragment, also three sherds of medieval pottery, the Roman and Iron Age material was concentrated around the quoted NGR;
