{1}FLDWKG; S.PARRY; CONCENTRATION OF 22 IA POTTERY SHERDS; FOUND CLOSE TO STREAM AT E EDGE OF STANWICK; SUGGESTS PRESENCEOF SMALL SETTLEMENT POSS PREDATING LATE IA (5);
{2} Twenty-two sherds were recovered from this locationSome of the sherds were in a poor condition, possibly as a result of their proximity to a stream which might have caused deterioration of fabric. The group might pre-date the late Iron Age, but numbers are too small for certainty.
