Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking in 1992 by Northamptonshire Archaeology Unit Contracts Section. Struck flint confirmed the presence of prehistoric activity within field 2, but was widely distributed and formed no significant concentrations. Nine Romano-British pot sherds probably reflect manuring practice. Eight early-middle Saxon pottery sherds are of unknown significance.
