Full Description

{1} Two shallow graves containing inhumations were found in 1953 when council houses were being built. There were no grave goods except for an object said to resemble 'a thing cylinder of coal'.

{2} SP 548468: Two shallow graves with inhumations were found in February 1953 during the building of the Council Houses. The remains were adjudged to be "Roman" by an unknown authority. Apart from an object resembling a thin cylinder of coal nothing was found by which the remains could be identified.
