Full Description

{1} The most obvious feature in this part of the village is a large rectangular pond up to 1.5m deep. The level area bounded by scarps to the south east of the pond is the site of a recent tennis court (local info.)

{2} Includes a rectangular platform within a bank and a wide external ditch still containing water. A possible homestead moat? There are two catchment ponds at right angles to each other with associated drainage ditches.
