Full Description
{2} Part of a pit at least 1.2m across x 0.4m deep was revealed at the north-west end of the trench. A single sherd of C1st-2nd Romano-British pottery was recovered from its fill.
A ditch 0.9m wide x 0.25 m deep which ran north-east to south-west across the trench was undated.
{3} Late Iron Age/ early Roman occupation, residual Saxon elements, Medieval and Post Medieval activity, evaluation by M Shaw.
