Full Description

{1} At the north end of the site, and separated from the rest by a later quarry pit probably dug through a hollow way, are more closes with house sites at their western ends. They overlie ridge and furrow cultivation, suggesting that they were an extension to the village.A few sherds of medieval pottery, all of C13th or C14th date have been found on the site, mainly in the areas formerly occupied by buildings.
