{1} A coin of Marcus Aurelius (161 - 180 AD) was found at Rignall Farm (SP 6747) south east of Towcester.

{2} A coin of Marcus Aurelius was found pre 1954. Field name: Rignall farm.

{4} J Alexander's collection is stored in Northampton museum and is awaiting sorting and classification. Rignall Farm is now unoccupied.
