Monument record 6718 - Barton Seagrave Hall Park

Please read our .

Summary

The well-known county historian John Bridges owned the estate in 1721. Little is known about the design of the park until Charles Tibbits acquired the estate between 1791 and 1793. In 1793 he asked Repton to redesign the landscape park, although only a few of the suggestions proposed by Repton appear to have been undertaken.
