{1} Find made in 1878; a Roman coin of Trajan was found in the parish.
{2} A C1st-C2nd AD Roman coin of Trajan is in the Dryden Collection in the British Museum.
{3} A coin of Trajan (98-117 AD) was found at Slapton (SP 6346), in 1878, and was in Sir Henry Dryden's collection.
