Full Description

{1} Roman building (SP 958705), in the extreme north west of the parish near the River Nene, on gravel at 110ft above OD. Building stone, roof tiles and Roman pottery, including samian and Nene Valley wares,
have been found.

{2} SP 958705. Romano-British sherds (Samian and Castor ware) associated with building stone and roofing tile. Probably adjoining an ancient ford across the River Nene.

{4} Fieldwalking undertaken by S. Parry; 87 sherds of middle Roman pottery were found from the area of the villa;
