Full Description

{1} Human bone was revealed (a skull, scapula and parts of several limb bones) below the buttress adjacent to the south-east corner of the tower and south-west corner of the nave. No dating evidence, and no grave cut detected. It is impossible to determine whether the remains represent an insitu but disturbed inhumation or a jumble of re-deposited bone. Either way the bones pre-date the construction of the overlying buttress.
