Find Spot record 2139/0/2 - Unstratified Romano-British Pottery

Scatters of 2nd to 3rd century pottery indicate the site of a possible settlement.

{1} Fieldwalking recovered c.90 sherds of C2nd-C3rd Romano-British pot sherds. Dense scatter at SP81076400 with lesser scatter on the rest of the south-western part of the field.

{2} SP 8107640. Scatter of about ninety 2nd-3rd century Roman sherds over SW quadrant of field with dense scatter at
grid reference. Found in 1971 (Possibly associated with either SP86 SW 27 or SP 86 SW 54)

{4} Roman settlement. Scatter of Roman pottery have been discovered at around SP 811640, SP 81076400, SP 810643, SP 81216415, SP 81006400.
