Find Spot record 2581/0/0 - Unstratified, unlocated Saxon coin

Two Saxon coins have been reported from Weldon parish; may be the same coin

{1} A coin of Edward the Confessor 'from Weldon' is in Northampton Museum {4}. A coin of Ethelred II is also recorded {5}, but its whereabouts is unknown and it may have been confused with the coin of Edward;

{9}Northants Museum has no knowledge of the find. Site [of coin of Ethelred] not established.
