{1} Fermyn Woods Hall marked as "park or ornamental grounds"; boundary shown

{2} Area marked as "deer park"; section to north-west missing from boundary

{3} Unclear whether parkland actually shown

{5} Farming Wood house and woods (granted for £2000 in 4th year of reign of Charles 1 (1629). Now the property of Lord Gowran in right of his wife Ann Robinson, one of the coheirs of Sir John Robinson.

{9} John Fitzpatrick (2nd Earl of Upper Ossary) - gold medal from Society of Arts in 1784 for planting a mixed plantation at Ampthill. Scots pine, oak, beech, chestnuts and other species. (Old client of Brown).

{10} Former lodge in Rockingham Forest; Countess of Upper Ossary was friend of Horace Walpole - see letters addressed to her; he visited Farming Woods each autumn for shooting; Anne Liddell was wife of John second Earl

{16} Parkland clearly marked although southern border appears to be drawn incorrectly as a portion of parkland is missing between Bushylawn Lodge & Stubby Stiles
