Full Description
{1} Earthwork visible in 1978. A small stone building measuring 6m x 4m with limestone foundations was observed. It was possibly associated with the artificial lake situated to the south west. No finds were recovered to assist dating.
[SMR note 23/08/2001: the published grid reference (SP974971) is assumed to be incorrect as there is no lake to the south-west. If reversed to SP971974, this would place the lake at Fineshade to the south-west.]
