Full Description
{1} Limestone weight found April 1974. The weight is cylindrical with one end roughly squared off, 17.5cm long, but has one end missing. Its average diameter is about 8cm tapering towards the broken end, and it has two lateral perforations. It would appear to be an eel-trap weight of late Saxon or medieval date.
