Full Description
{1} To the east, close to a stream (SP840597), other patches of iron slag, worked flints, Roman pottery and a coin are recorded.
{2} Patches of slag sometimes associated with pieces of coal and the presence of ore in the bank of a nearby stream suggest iron working.
