Full Description
{1}The finder reports picking up "two boxes full" of Romano-British pottery sherds including Samian and sherds of mortaria and painted pottery; the pottery was spread over area c.50m x 25m around given ngr of TL023973. Most of the pottery appears to have been exposed for some time and is water-damaged. The finder is temporarily retaining the material but would like to archive it properly.
