{2} In a place still called the park was an old Manor House belonging to Sir Thomas Preston, which was entirely demolished about 50 years ago.

{3} Speaks of an ancient manor house, probably stood in Nether Park which adjoins present manor house, a small neat residence of Harlestone with 2 fronts.
