Full Description
{1} Finds made during building development included a single early-middle Saxon pot sherd eroded from the new footings. Several large medieval and post medieval pot rim sherds were recovered from spoil heaps, probably from the stripping for adjacent footings. Some sherds were also gathered from erosion of the footings themselves. Limestone rubble was also noted as well as burnt limestone and several burnt pebbles. Also, mainly post medieval animal bones were eroded from the footings.
