Full Description

{1} Pond (SP 787795) in the SE of the parish, on clay at 137 m. above OD. A large rectangular pond, covering about 1 hectare, has a massive dam, 50 m. long, on its NE side. Though not shown on either
of the two 19th century maps of the parish (NRO) it is likely to be of medieval date. Its purpose is unknown. The area is called Podsholm on the 19th century map.
