{1} SP716662. Roman sherds and a few worked flints were found in April 1964.
{2} A few worked flints and Roman pottery have been noted at SP716662, possibly indicating Roman settlement.
{3} Fieldwalking has recovered Romano-British pot sherds and prehistoric flints.
