{1} Undated earthwork platform, 1.5-2m high

{2} Site visited August 1948 - possible barrow nearby

{3} Also in the adjoining coppice at Organ's Hill a stone quern or handmill was found, it is sixteen inches high, and the circumference thirty eight inches; the upper part nine and a half inches (from wetton's Guide 1849 p199)....... near Hollow Quarter Riding and in Shrubbery Close there are large mounds which could be funeral mounds or barrows.
