Full Description
{1} A large Palaeolithic hand axe (214mm length) was found c.1973 at the Weedon Road gravel pits. It was given to Northampton Museum.
{2} A Palaeolithic hand axe was found at Weedon Road Gravel pit at SP730599.
{3} A third hand-axe was also found from the Weedon Road Gravel Pit.
