Full Description
{1} In 1973, a service trench centred on SP 73256071 contained cut features associated with pottery of 'Belgic' type, including some certainly pre-Conquest, and also some later Roman sherds.
{3} Long trench following course of modern road and services. One ditch contained pre-Conquest Iron Age pottery. There was no evidence of the Roman road observed further to the south-west.
