Full Description

{1} A bone tool of unknown date has also been found near the hill fort

{2} Bone artefact from Hunsbury (field next to fort). Possibly Iron Age. Possible cobblers tool.
Piece of bone with flat underside and rounded topside. One end cut off at an angle and fluted (10 depressions). Tapers from cut end slightly in width and depth. Max. kength 8cm. Max bredth 2.3cm. Max depth 1.1cm.
