Full Description
{1} A section showed a limestone wall at the top, layers of dark soil interspersed with ironstone fragments below and dark soil but into the ironstone below. These features were interpreted as a post-medieval outbuilding overlying medieval-post-medieval yard buildup with a medieval pit below.
{2} Features included a medieval pit with a C14th pot sherd, this sealed by a post medieval yard and later outbbuildings. SP76785791.
