Summary
Field observation during building development in 1976 identified a small pit which contained Beaker and Grooved Ware pottery and a number of worked flints. Further unstratified worked flint was recovered from the same area.

Full Description
{1} Eighteen prehistoric sherds, including Beaker and Grooved Ware, and 19 worked flints were discovered in a small pit revealed during building development in 1976. A small quantity of worked flints was recovered from the surrounding area
{2} Pit 0.85m wide x 0.4m deep and 0.5m below topsoil.
