Description from record 263/0/0:
{1} A Roman site, identified by a spread of domestic occupation, was discovered by D.Hall on a high ridge.

{2} A Romano-British site was discovered on clay at SP579450.

{3} Roman settlement (SP 579450) in the SE of the parish, on limestone at 147m above OD. A scatter of Roman sherds has been noted.
